Be ON MISSION @ MCCC with Cliff Fulwood & Andre Goff
Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus tells His disciples, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold, I AM with you always, to the end of the age.”

“The Parachute” Analogy by Ray Comfort
Two men are seated in a plane. A stewardess gives the first man a parachute and instructs him to put it on as it will “improve his flight.” The first passenger is a little skeptical. Finally, he decides to see if the claim is true. After putting the parachute on, he notices its burdensome weight and has difficulty sitting upright. Because he is the only one wearing a parachute, some of the other passengers begin smirking at him, which only adds to his humiliation. He then slumps in his seat, takes off the parachutes, and tosses it to the floor. He becomes disillusioned because he was told a lie. Another stewardess gives the second man a parachute but listened to her instructions. She tells him to put the parachute on because at any moment he will be making an emergency exit out of the plane at 25,000 feet. This man puts on the parachute and does not notice the weight. When other passengers laugh at him, he thinks, “You won’t be laughing when you’re falling to the ground.” The second man had a deep-rooted joy and peace in his heart. Now, listen to what the contemporary gospel message says, “Put on the Lord, Jesus Christ, He will give you love, joy, peace.” If a sinner’s decision is based on his own interests, when temptation and persecution come, most likely he will take off the Lord Jesus. He becomes offended at the Word. The first passenger did not trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and failed to understand Ephesians 2:8, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.”
