Every year we have a week-long outreach. This year we went to Ocean City Maryland. We shared the gospel with hundreds of people. We had conversation after conversation every evening. We had great teaching every day as well.
Jen’s Update: Pray for the Muslim man that I witnessed to. I explained to him, the Quran says Allah is the great deceiver. I explained that the heart of the god of the Bible is humble and lowly. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. I asked him which one sounded like the devil and which one sounded like God. His mouth stopped. He listened. I have never seen that reaction when witnessing to a Muslim.
Tim’s Update: At Repent and Witness 2026 I was able to take these young boys through the IQ Test and then straight into the Good Person Test! They were all very receptive to the gospel. After explaining the Courtroom Analogy that we broke God’s Law the 10 Commandments and Jesus paid the fine on the cross and rose again on the third day, so that we might have eternal life in Heaven;this made the gospel really make sense to the young boys. Pray that the gospel seeds that were sown will take root in their lives and bring forth good fruit in keeping with repentance.
Andre’s Update: I found this Repent and Witness outreach really encouraging. I especially appreciated the teaching from Justice Pierce and Eddy Roman—it was excellent. One of my favorite moments on the Boardwalk was meeting the young man in the photo. When I gave him a gospel tract, he said, “I’m almost saved.” I asked him, “Is being almost saved like being almost pregnant?” He smiled at that. He told me he lived nearby and went to the local church. Furthermore, he admitted he had “some faults” he wanted to overcome and was trying to become a better person by going to church. I shared with him that everyone struggles with faults, which are really sins, and that everyone born since Adam is born with a sinful nature. I told him that nothing we do—no good works or efforts—can erase our sin or make us right with God. Not only that, but I explained that overcoming sin means not just recognizing it, but turning away from it, turning to God, repenting, and trusting Jesus Christ to save us. He said, “That makes sense,” then smiled, shook my hand, and walked away. I pray that he, and everyone who received a gospel tract, will come to repentance and be saved.
Mary’s Update: Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. I am continually reminded that God is at work all around us, opening doors for the gospel in places we least expect. Whether on a crowded boardwalk or at my own front door, He is faithful to provide opportunities to proclaim the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
This month I was blessed to spend two days in Ocean City, Maryland, serving with Christian Collegian Network during our annual Repent and Witness outreach. Thousands of people filled the boardwalk, and we had the privilege of engaging many of them in conversations about eternity, sin, and the saving grace of Christ.
One conversation that stood out was with a family who had once attended church but had drifted from the truth. We spent nearly thirty minutes talking with them, answering questions and pointing them to the authority of God’s Word. Although they ultimately rejected the gospel, they thanked us for taking the time to speak with them respectfully. While they walked away unconvinced, I trust that God’s Word does not return void and pray that He will continue to work in their hearts.
Another memorable conversation was with three young people sitting together on a bench. They spoke very highly of their sister, describing how kind, loving, and selfless she was. I asked them an important question: Would her goodness be enough to get her into heaven? As we talked through God’s standard of holiness and the Ten Commandments, they began to understand that even the best of us fall short of God’s perfect righteousness. It was a wonderful opportunity to share that our hope is not in our own goodness but in the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ, received by grace through faith.
The Lord also reminded me that mission fields are not only found on college campuses or mission trips.
During the month, three different people came to my front door for work trying to sell pest control and security systems. Since the Lord had brought them to my doorstep, I asked each of them if they would be willing to talk about spiritual things.
One of those conversations was with a young man who described himself as an agnostic. After we spent time talking through the gospel and opening God’s Word together, he made a statement that has stayed with me. He said that no one had ever taken the time to explain the gospel to him before. Then he asked a question that every believer should consider:
“If someone truly believes what the Bible says—that people are separated from God without Christ—why wouldn’t they tell others?”
He gratefully accepted a Bible before he left. Please pray that he will read God’s Word and come to know Christ as his Savior.
As I reflect on this month, I am reminded that evangelism is not simply about organized events or scheduled outreaches. God places people in our path every day. Our calling is to be faithful, to love them enough to speak the truth, and to trust Him with the results.
As we look ahead to August, Christian Collegian Network will be returning to East Carolina University. We are already planning welcome-week outreach, evangelism on campus, Bible studies, and opportunities to disciple students throughout the semester. The beginning of a new school year is one of the most strategic times to reach students with the gospel, and I am excited to see how the Lord will work.

* That God would prepare the hearts of students before they arrive on campus.
* For wisdom as we plan outreach events and Bible studies.
* For boldness, compassion, and endurance as we share the gospel.
* That students would come to saving faith in Christ and grow into faithful disciples who will reach others with the gospel.

Tom’s Update: Providence Murrieta Church was thankful for another opportunity to proclaim the gospel at Murrieta Market Nights on the first and third Thursday of the month from 6:00–8:00 PM. It was a joy to meet people from all walks of life, have meaningful conversations, and share the hope that is found in Jesus Christ alone. The friendly atmosphere of Market Nights provided many opportunities to listen to people’s stories, answer questions about the Christian faith, and encourage them to consider what the Bible says about salvation.
One of the tools we used was the “Good Person Test,” which helps people examine themselves in light of God’s holy standard as revealed in the Ten Commandments. These conversations often opened the door to discussing our need for a Savior and the good news of the gospel—that although we have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory, Jesus Christ lived the perfect life we could not live, died on the cross for sinners, and rose again on the third day. Salvation is not earned by good works but is received by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. We are grateful for everyone who stopped to talk with us, and we look forward to returning to Murrieta Market Nights to continue sharing the life-changing message of the gospel.
