Prayers being answered

We shared the gospel with so many people on Groundhog’s Day. The day before we talked to people at the park. We had person after person stop and talk with us about the gospel. On the morning of Groundhog’s Day, we got on one of the first buses to go up to Gobblers Nob. We realized that everyone got off the buses and was funneled through a gate. We stood on either side of the gate and handed out custom tracts I had made for the day.  They had a picture of a groundhog on the front and it said “Can he tell your future?” People loved the tracts. They waited in line to get their card. We said Happy Groundhog Day about 2000 times. I will make sure I order more tracts for this event next year and if anyone goes with me I will make sure they dress very warm as well.

These guys were fun to share the gospel with the day before Groundhog Day.  You can see that as I am sharing the gospel with this dude he is still smiling.

Pray for this young lady. I shared the gospel with her and she said she like what I said but she did not like the church. I explained that it was impossible for the church to be perfect because none of us would be perfect until Jesus comes back. I explained the reason all of those people are in church is because they are sinners and break Gods law. I explained the gospel again. She said she would “sit on it for a while” I think that means she would think about it. Pray for her.

The young man talking to Becca is Jayden. I shared the gospel with him and asked him what would stop him from trust in Jesus and Repenting. And without the tone it does not make sense what he said but “why would I not” I prayed for him and then he went and talked to Becca for a bit. I gave him my card if he had questions. Pray for him.

Pray for Mary. She tested me and she did not want to hear what I had to say. She told me the Bible did not get written down until after Israel came back from Babylon. I showed her that in 2 Kings 22 Josiah found the book of the law. She looked up the dates and saw I was right. Then she let me correct her on everything else. I was able to share the gospel with her. She is thinking about going to church. Pray she repents and trust Jesus and goes to church. We talked for about 45 minutes in the cold.

Tuesdays at Pitt have been full of gospel conversations. Pray for everyone we shared the gospel with on Valentines day. We gave out Valentine’s Day gospel tracts that I wrote up. It was awesome. Students that passed us came back to get tracts because everyone wants a Valentine. Everyone wants true love. Jesus is the truest love. While we were yet enemies of God he died on the cross for those of us that trust in him. Then we repent because of his great mercy and kindness. Pray for many to trust Jesus.

Gene and I have enjoyed sharing the gospel at Pitt on Wednesday nights. We have been out there in the rain and snow this month. We had so  many good conversations. Pray for everyone we talked to.
