These four young ladies were really fun to share the gospel with. I used my new IQ test. They really enjoyed the new IQ questions. Then I walked them through the law. I asked them if they had every told a lie, had they ever stolen anything. I explained that Jesus said if you hate someone you have murdered them in your heart and if you lust after a person you have committed adultery in your heart. I asked them if God judged them by the 10 commandments would they go to heaven or to hell. They said they would go to heaven though they deserved hell. I asked them why. They told me that they had repented.
I put them before a judge. They are guilty and they confessed their crime and said they are sorry. The judge explained that they should be sorry and should not do it again but someone had to pay the fine. If they paid their fine they would pay it in hell for all eternity.

Jesus paid their fine on the cross when he died. They need to trust that Jesus paid it all. Jesus rose from the grave 3 days later and ascended into heaven 40 days later and is seated at the right hand of the father.
They knew they needed to repent they did not understand that Jesus paid the fine. Pray for these young ladies. They have been going to church but they did not know the gospel.
This is not an uncommon conversation. Many people go to church every week and cannot explain a simple gospel message.
These young ladies thanked me for the uplifting message.
Another young man going to Eastern Orthodox. I asked him why Eastern Orthodox? He told me it was the one with the best record of the Apostolic branches.
I tried to explain that Baptists and Presbyterians had the apostles laid hands on those before them in both of those branches. And they believed what the apostles teach.
He told me it is not about the line of succession of people laying hands on men to be priests.
He told me of the terrible things the Catholic Church did. I explained if he wanted to pick one based on how nice people are I told him he should pick Mormon. They are very nice, most are rich. However, They have a high suicide rate because they are trying to be perfect to become gods, but if niceness was the key, that should be his pick. I explained they could not get him to heaven, since they do not think Jesus is an eternal God that always existed, but they were the niceness.
I asked him if he died today would he go to heaven. He did not know. I quoted the verse I write these things to you so you may know you have eternal life. I explained that I knew I had eternal life. Jesus lived the perfect life and that life is applied to me. Jesus died on the cross and paid my fine.
He told me that I should just worship Jesus and not expect anything back. He was upset when I asked why would anyone worship him if they were not getting eternal life. I do not think I did a good job on that point. He seemed to think that we should just worship God because he deserves it. I do agree but who would do it the right way without the Holy Spirit in them?
I went back to if you died today would you go to heaven? He did not know. He said he did not confess yet. He was working on repenting.
I asked him what the standard is how good did he have to be?
We talked about the creeds and the fathers.
I explained that we did not want to lift up the creeds to the level of scripture.
He was not having it.
Pray for everyone that heard the gospel at Pitt. These students saw the IQ test and waited for me to share the gospel with another student so I could go over the I Q test with them. I shared the gospel with them and they thanked me for sharing such an uplifting message with them.
It was a great day. I talked to a young man from China that was born to Christian parents. He knew the gospel. I was impressed.
I talked to a young man from Canada that goes to a PCUSA church at is reformed and he knew the gospel. He wants to go to a seminary in Canada to be a minister of the gospel.
Overall it was a wonderful and encouraging day. Pray for the young man that will go to seminary to be a minister of the gospel in Canada. Pray for the two in the picture above to repent and trust Jesus. Pray for the young man from China that he gets to stay in the USA.
Pray for a JW that I had a long conversation with. I explained that Jesus had to be God so that he was an eternal being of infinite value to pay our fine. I explained that if God is good then he must be just. Every time we sin we sin against and infinite God and need someone that is God to pay the fine. She was big into Jesus not being God and his name being Jehovah. I explained that God gave us different names as we learn more about him through time. I gave her the example of when we got the first covenant God gave us a new name, so we knew him better. She called her grandmother because I stumped her and that was the beginning of the end of the conversation.
