I found a new way to share the gospel. I saw another group using a website called Omegle to share the gospel. Omegle is a website that you can talk to random people online. I shared the gospel with a guy in German. I talked to a person that lived in an Amish area. It was almost as good as witnessing at the booths. It was one conversation after another. As soon as you connect to someone you just ask right away what do you think happens when you die and take them through the good person test. I now know I will be able to witness as long as I can continue to speak. I had so many good conversations. There were tons of people online the first day I did it on the website. I did some research. You need the following to witness on Omegle:
- A VPN to keep your location and your computer safe.
- A good antivirus and do not click on any links anyone sends you.
- Know how to share the gospel.
- Courage to speak.
- To input an interest to avoid perversion. At least, this will lessen the chances of it.
My family listened to me witnessing online. I did not have to get cold, have a car, or drive anywhere. If you have a computer or a smart phone you no longer have an excuse for not witnessing. I wish I would have found this earlier.
Non-believing women often get their self-esteem from having sex with men. If they do not have a boyfriend (aka someone that loves them) then they do not feel like they are anyone.
One of the wonderful things about being a Christian woman is that we get our self-esteem from who we are in Christ. We are made in the image of God. We are co-heirs to the kingdom of God through Christ. God loves us so much that he sent his only son to save us.
When I am witnessing to women, I often am reminded of the huge difference between their worldview and mine. I feel for these women and try to explain that as human beings they are made in God’s image, and they have value outside of the reaction they get from men or other people.
I am so grateful to be a Christian for so many reasons.
God granted me a few people to go out witnessing with this month. Thank you Ben, Jill and Joe for going out witnessing with me this month.
Here is a good teaching done by one a CCN Campus Leader.
