A Clarion Call To Those Who Thirst

“And let the one who is thirsty come”

– Revelation 22:17

“O come, O come, Emmanuel!” Echoes of crooning carolers and churchgoers alike singing in city streets and sanctuaries can be heard throughout the Christmas season, a reminder of the much-anticipated birth and first Advent of our Savior to the Israelite people.

And while the bride of Christ today cries out still for her beloved Bridegroom to come once more, another call goes forth but to the unbeliever to come and “take the water of life without price”.

Despite the freezing temps Christian Collegian Network along with Harvest Fellowship, a local church in Pottstown, PA, joined forces once again to preach a Gospel of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ to local residents and anyone who would hear. Their aim each week to steer people from the flames of hell.

Please pray for this young man. He believes in evolution and that defective doctrine of devils known as relativism. “You respect what I believe and I respect what you believe” the young man asserted. However, Jill, a CCN campus missionary, attempted to reason with him by explaining that if he were a blind man who was headed toward a steep cliff it wouldn’t be a respect issue but rather a matter of life and death! Though he seemed to understand, unfortunately Jill could not share the gospel with him.

Do you ever get tongue-tied when sharing the gospel with others or you just can’t seem to recall a particular verse that would be relevant to the topic at hand? Wouldn’t it be nice to have a quick reference list of Bible verses handy for when you hit your local campus? CCN President Jenifer recently put together an evangelism “cheat sheet” page on the CCN website for use when witnessing. Despite the many challenges presented in 2020, the call of the gospel still rang true at our campuses and city streets. We are grateful to all of our supporters who’ve prayed for us and partnered with us financially. And we also look forward to what the New Year will bring, challenges and all, to this ministry!

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

Happy New Year from CCN!
