Tom is going to Murrieta Market Nights for Gospel Proclamation. He is doing it on Thursday nights. Pray for all the people that are hearing the gospel.
Brian’s Update:
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, I will be venturing out to the Virginia Beach oceanfront on Saturday evenings to share the gospel with locals and those on vacation. I usually encounter a lot of college age kids. I go out there with some other brothers in the Lord. My fellow campus leader Timothy Jackson being one of them. Also, Chris Jones, Don Karnes, Bill Legg, and Jason Sleichter. I look forward to laboring with these brothers every summer. It is amazing to see what the Lord does through the sharing of the gospel in both the hearts of unbelievers and believers alike.
Saturday, May 30th was my first time out there this season. One encounter I had out there was with a young guy, his name is Luke Schalow. Luke is currently attending the Virginia Military Institute and came up while I was witnessing to a group of military guys. Luke said he is a Christian and I could tell he was very moved by seeing the gospel shared. He prayed for me, and he said he desired to do what we were doing. I prayed for him as well that God would give him the love and courage to share the gospel. I gave him one of my Living Waters gospel tracts, and he gave it to someone immediately. Luke asked if we could exchange numbers and we did. I hope to keep in touch with him. Be encouraged church, God is working in the next generation.
I also spoke with two females towards the end of our night. Their names are T and Katie. I started out my conversation with them by taking them through the IQ Test. I then told them I was asking all those questions to ask one main question. Do they believe in an afterlife? They said, “Yes.” I responded, “So what do you believe in exactly, heaven and hell?” They said, “Heaven.” I asked, “how do you get to heaven?” T responded in the best way to get to the ten commandments. She said, “keep the ten commandments.” It was then, I immediately took them through the ten commandments. Like the Bible says about all of us in Romans 3:23, they were sinners. I told them the Bible says they would be guilty before God on judgment day, and they would go to hell. I then asked, “what did God do so we wouldn’t have to go to hell?” I then shared the gospel with them. I asked them when they would repent and trust alone in Jesus as their way to heaven. They said they weren’t sure. I told them the Bible says that today is the day of salvation. I then talked with them about James 4, where it talks about the brevity of life and that we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. I then thanked them for stopping and listening to me.
I plan on still going out to Christopher Newport University this summer and reaching out to students and staff alike. Please pray that God would open doors to reach more on campus and to get the opportunity to see fruit from my efforts and to get a Bible study going, as well as get the opportunity to become an official campus ministry. I really desire to see the Holy Spirit moving in the lives of students. Thank you and Lord bless!
Andre Update:
As summer progresses, we’re excitedly preparing for the fall semester by connecting with Professor Williams, our wonderful student advisor at MCCC. He kindly suggested that more students join our team, so we’re reaching out to welcome them as our group grows.
As Cliff takes time to recover from his knee replacement, our team will lovingly continue sharing the Gospel every Friday night in Pottstown. We’re looking forward to having Cliff back with us after June 1, 2026!
We’re also getting ready to attend Repent and Witness this year—a wonderful opportunity for us to connect, grow, and minister together in person. We’re truly looking forward to encouraging fellowship and time together.
Mary’s Update:
Throughout the summer, CCN members will be meeting via Zoom for evangelism training and Bible study as we continue equipping students to stand boldly for Christ and share the truth of the Gospel.
I will also be spending time witnessing in Raleigh, standing for the unborn, and participating in evangelism outreach throughout the city.
There are so many hurting and broken people in our communities who desperately need the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
Last week, I spoke with several people at the bus station in Raleigh. One young man I met has made many destructive decisions in his life. He is addicted to drugs and currently living on the streets. He knows about Jesus, but Jesus is not Lord of his life. Instead, he has been living for himself, and that path has led him into deep pain and bondage.
There is never true peace in a lifestyle apart from God, and many trapped in addiction know this all too well. So often, people turn to drugs, alcohol, and other things trying to fill the emptiness and escape the pain.
I was able to clearly share the Gospel with this young man and speak to him about the hope, forgiveness, and new life found in Christ alone.
Please pray for him — that God would open his eyes, bring true repentance, and draw him to saving faith in Jesus Christ.
