Mary Hinnant’s Update:
This month began with our Campus Mission Tour, where missionaries gathered in Pittsburgh to labor together in evangelism. It was a sweet time of fellowship and encouragement as we shared the gospel with many students.
During that week, I had the opportunity to speak with two young women in particular.
One shared that she had been thinking deeply about eternity, describing life as a kind of test she hoped to pass. This opened the door to explain that none of us can meet God’s standard on our own, but that Jesus Christ has lived the perfect life we could not live. Salvation is found in Him alone. I am thankful that she is now attending a Bible study at Slippery Rock University and continuing to hear God’s Word.
Another young woman, raised in a Catholic home, shared that she had been planning to move on from her upbringing. Yet, in God’s kindness, she was willing to listen to the gospel. Please pray that the seed of the Word would take root in her heart.
Back on campus, the Lord continues to open doors. This month, we distributed approximately 50 Bibles, 30 New Testaments, and other resources. We are also meeting regularly for Bible study, where students are engaging with Scripture and asking thoughtful questions about salvation and the Christian life.
It is a privilege to serve these students. Many are searching for truth in a world full of confusion. Please pray that they would not waste the time the Lord has given them, but would come to repentance and faith in Christ.
Tim Jackson’s Update:
Throughout March, I spent much of my time open-air preaching on the TCC campuses. This often led to meaningful one-on-one conversations with students.
Some students were willing to engage more deeply, and several expressed appreciation for hearing the gospel clearly. I also had the opportunity to speak with multiple security guards across different campuses, all of whom listened as I shared the message of Christ.
On March 30, I preached at the Virginia Beach campus, where students, faculty, and staff heard the gospel being proclaimed. Afterward, I spoke with a Muslim student and was able to walk through the law and the gospel with him.
Please continue to pray for those who hear the gospel each week—that the Lord would grant repentance and faith.
Brian Moody’s Update:
In March, I had the opportunity to share the gospel with a student named Maddox, a football player. He initially expressed a belief that those who trust in Jesus would go to heaven, but he was not connected to a local church or campus ministry. As we talked, I was able to walk through God’s law and explain the gospel more fully, emphasizing the need for repentance and faith, as well as the importance of being part of a local church. I encouraged him to surround himself with other believers.
I also spoke with a man named Wally, who identifies as an atheist. After several brief encounters in the past, he was willing this time to stop and talk. He listened carefully as I shared the gospel, and since then, we have continued to speak when we see one another. I am thankful for this ongoing opportunity.
Please pray for both of these men—that the Lord would work in their hearts and bring them to saving faith.
Andre and Cliff’s Update (Pottstown):
One of the great joys in evangelism is seeing when the message becomes clear to the hearer. This was the case in a recent conversation with Paul and Cindy. After hearing the gospel explained, Cindy responded, “I get it.”
Moments like this remind us that while we faithfully proclaim the truth, it is God who grants understanding. We are humbled to be used as instruments in His hands.
Please pray for Paul and Cindy—that the Lord would grant them repentance and faith.
We are also grateful for the training and encouragement within CCN. The Lord continues to use this ministry to equip believers to share the gospel more clearly and faithfully.
To God be the glory for all that He has done. Thank you for your prayers and support. We are grateful to labor together with you, trusting the Lord to save the lost and to grow His people in Christ.
