Don’t Waste Your Dash

Joanne and I sharing the Gospel at ECU.

There is a real urgency to reach the lost. There are many in our own communities, and we need to be intentional in warning them to repent and trust in Jesus Christ. Charles Spurgeon said, “God save us from living in comfort while sinners are sinking into hell! It is an uncomfortable task to go up to a stranger and share the Gospel, but if not you, then who? Though I get uncomfortable every time, I share the Gospel.  Jesus commanded that we are to go into all the world and do just that. For me, part of the world is the American University campus, and it is a real battlefield. The minds of these young people are assaulted every day with an atheistic  worldview, and that is intentional.

The past couple of months have been exciting because God has opened doors.  Joanne has been with me almost every Thursday at ECU. I am so thankful for her willingness to be there, the love that she shows the students, and her company is truly an answer to prayer

Tuesdays,  I spend the morning with a group in Raleigh, N.C standing in the gap for the unborn at a local abortion clinic from 9 am to 12:30 am. I can not tell you how hard it is to do this. Lots of prayers are needed.

This past month I was able to speak to a young woman who was rushing to end the life of her child. I pleaded with her to change her mind. Honestly, I don’t remember everything I said to her. She came out about two hours later,  pointed her finger at me, and said,” It is because of what you told me that I changed my mind.” God used me at that time to be there. He gave me the words, Praise Him!!!!

March 25th-31st, I will be in Pittsburgh. We are having our Campus Mission Tour that week. Please pray for us as we will be sharing the Gospel at several campuses.

This summer, I hope to start a children’s Bible study at a local park to reach unchurched children and their parents. Please pray for that endeavor.

Time is short, and workers are few,  Jesus is returning.
