It is great to get back on the campus of East Carolina University; and the campus of North Carolina State University sharing the Gospel this year. I have been able to hand out many tracts, books, and Bibles.
I also had the opportunity to go with a team of evangelists to Appalachian State and Eastern Tennessee University to witness this year. The American University needs Christ because He has been removed. The truth today is whatever you want it to be. Everyone is doing what is right in their own eyes. The problem is that our minds are so tainted with sin it is distorted. Without the Truth, Jesus Christ, they will have no hope. As I speak with students about Christ, they all say that eventually they will be forgiven because God is love. God is love, but He is also holy, righteous, and just. A good judge must punish lawbreakers, and a Good God must also punish those who have trampled His law under foot. There have been too many that hear a half Gospel or another Gospel altogether.
J.A.Y Ministries is an organization that I began several years ago that reaches out to the homeless. CCN partners with J.A.Y Ministries. After many years of praying God gave me a sweet friend that joins me on the streets. I want to thank Joanne for joining me. She is so encouraging. Through her determination, phone calls, and follow ups we have been able to get a lady off the streets and into a shelter. Handwarmers, socks, gloves, hats, sleeping bags, tents, coats, tarps, bags of food, hygiene products, Bibles, tracts, and other Christian literature are being distributed to the homeless.
I have also joined a group in our state capital, Raleigh, N.C. We stand for the unborn. There is a holocaust of the unborn being wiped out daily. Our Father in heaven must be so grieved.
I want to thank Jared and Sara Clark for the food that they donated for the homeless. Tim Morris with Injoy has been so generous to donate sleeping bags, tents, scarves, hats, socks, and sleeping mats. Freedom Baptist Church helps provide me with tracts.
David and Katie thank you for supporting me financially, for entrusting me with funds supplied by you. I will work hard to use them well. I could not do what I do without your support.
