After two almost two years of Zoom calls (began before covid), I gathered with our other campus missionaries that I serve in Pittsburg, Pa, for our Campus Missionary Tour. While seeing these faces weekly on the computer screen, it was terrific to see them in person. Crosspointe Church hosted the CMT 2021. The Bible tells us to taste and see that the Lord is good. We tasted delicious meals prepared by members of the church and family members of our President Jen Peplin. I stayed with a sweet couple that opened their home to me. While witnessing in the city of Pittsburg, we encountered many broken people.
After all, are we not all broken? Isn’t that why we need a Savior? We cast seeds into the heart of men. Please pray that those seeds will take root, grow to bear fruit that will cling to the vine of Christ. We were rejected by many on the wide road, but I pray that the next time they see the exit for the Narrow Path, they will take it. I had many great conversations with some that would take the time to listen to the “Good News.” Many faces are etched in my mind as I am praying for them. Watching and listening to everyone taught me so much. I am very thankful for the ministry of the Christian Collegian Network. Our battlefield is challenging as there is quite a stronghold over the American college campus. It is a great privilege to serve the Lord with such beautiful feet.
How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
Isaiah 52:7
Thank you to all who pray for me as I go out to cast the seeds of the gospel.
Until next time if He seems fit to give it.
