Summer Ministry

Shared the gospel with these young ladies this evening. Afterwards, I gave out a Bible and other gifts. Then
Tracy, a friend of CCN, got to share with a man named John and his daughter. They claimed to be Catholic, but they listened to Tracy’s gospel presentation.
God is good!

Virginia Beach Oceanfront Evangelism Outreach Saturday evening! Had great One 2 One conversations with people on the Boardwalk, many were receptive to the gospel message, while only two conversations people left early. Please pray for all those who heard the gospel!

Two guys mocking the gospel, but I’m glad they stuck around to hear the gospel! Afterwards they went and talked with another missionary on our team. Praying for both of them that they will truly repent and believe the gospel to be saved!

This past week, Mary had the incredible opportunity to take the gospel beyond the college campus and onto the boardwalk of Ocean City, Maryland. As part of the Christian Collegiate Network, she joined a passionate team of believers to set up evangelism stations and spend hours sharing Christ with those passing by.

They spoke with students on summer break, families on vacation, and even some who had never heard the gospel before. Some were curious, others skeptical—but many were open, and the Spirit was clearly at work.

One conversation that stood out was with a young man studying religion in college. He shared that he believed God was a tyrant because of all the boundaries He places on our lives. Mary gently explained that it’s actually the opposite: God gives us boundaries because He is loving. His commands are not to restrict us, but to protect us, just as a good parent sets boundaries so their child can thrive and stay safe. His perspective began to shift as he heard the gospel presented in a new light.

Gene and Jenifer had a witnessing booth at the Cheswick Strawberry Festival. We talked to many people at the event. Pray for everyone that heard the gospel.

Jen and Mary went to OC Maryland to share the gospel for a week. They had so many conversations. Pray for everyone that heard. It is wonderful to share the gospel. The young men in the picture above heard the gospel and then they had questions that they wanted answered.

Tom met this young man, Pedro Ochoa, while he was witnessing at Oceanside Pier he watched for a while, and then he took over the good person test for Tom. Pedro did a great job and lives in Oceanside.
