Andre was witnessing to a guy and another man rolled up and asked him to read a verse for him. Andre handed him over to Cliff. Cliff read the verse for him and then read him John 3. Cliff walked the young man through the gospel. The young man was very receptive. Cliff asked him if he had a Bible and he said no but he would really love one. Cliff did not have a Bible to give away so he gave him his own witnessing Bible. The young man held the Bible to his heart like a prized possession. Cliff prayed that the young man would repent and trust Jesus. Then the young man hung out with those witnessing almost until they left.
“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us reveals the fragrance of the knowledge of Him in every place. 15 For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing: 16 to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?” 2 Cor 2:14-16
The Christians that were witnessing were a fragrance of Christ to the young man and he just wanted to be around them. Cliff told him this was not a chance encounter.
Mary was able to give this gentleman a gospel tract and then share the gospel with him. He was very receptive to hearing the gospel. Mary is very energetic about sharing the gospel with people. She has such a sweet soul. She shared the gospel very lovingly.
Tim sharing the gospel with a man from India. Tim was able to hand out tons of gospel tracts this month. He enjoyed witnessing to several people.
Gene talked to lots of students at Point Park and at the University of Pittsburgh this month. The students were so open to the gospel message. Gene said it was a joy to share the gospel with them.
