Jen’s Campus Mission Tour Update

The Campus Mission Tour was an amazing success. We had 13+ missionaries come with us to go and share the gospel at Temple University and in Philidelphia. We shared the gospel with so many students.  I love using the IQ test to get people to stop and talk. They laugh at the IQ test and then they get to hear the truth of the gospel. Pray for everyone who heard the gospel.
Pray for this young lady. She walked around all the other Christians trying to share the gospel and then she stopped to do the optical illusion and the IQ test. She loved the IQ test. She sent a picture of it to her Grandmother. I shared the gospel with her and she was so grateful. She had been attacked by a roommate and ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks but because she fought back they decided it was both of their issue. I read her Psalm 142 and it moved her heart. I have continued to text her. Pray for her.

She thought she had been paying her fine via the bad things that had happened to her. I explained that only Jesus could pay her fine. I explained why bad things happen. I showed her that none were good.
Pray for her salvation.
Pray for these two ladies. They took the IQ test and then I walked them through the gospel. I asked them what was stopping them from repenting and trusting in Jesus and they told me their will. They thought that they would repent and trust Jesus when they got older. I explained that they might not get a chance to get older. I also explained that as people get older they get hardened and are less likely to turn. I asked them if they knew any older people who speak their minds. They laughed and told me they lived with a grandfather who did just that. Pray for them.
Pray for this young man who I shared the gospel with at Pitt. I walked him through the good person test but he said where you go would depend on what you believe about Hell and God. I asked him if it was wrong to lie, steal, and murder. He said yes. I explained that before you murder someone you hate them. Before you steal you covet and so sin starts in the heart. I told home that if someone raped and murdered your best friend and the guilty party stood before the judge and the judge let them go they would be a bad judge. God is good and so he must punish sin wherever it is found. he admitted he would be guilty and go to hell. I explained that Jesus died on the cross was buried and rose from the grave and he needs to repent and trust Jesus.

Then he asked about specific sins. He wanted to know about people that do not know about God and wanted me to know that certain sins were not as bad. I opened up to Romans 1:18 and walked him through the rest of the chapter. I showed him that everyone knows there is a God but they do not want to be judged by him so they pretend he does not exist. People turned to idols and so God gave them over to their sins. I showed him that doing the sins is bad as well as approving of them.
He wanted to know when being kind entered in. I explained if a blind person was about to walk off a Cliff the kind thing is to come alongside them and say dear precious one you are going to walk off a Cliff you need to come follow me to be safe. I showed that if I had the cure for cancer it would only be right to show them. I told him the issue was the kind thing to do is to warn people of the dangers of hell.
Pray for a redheaded young man who was running by my house and asked to use the bathroom. I was sitting in my front yard texting a friend. I told him he could if I could tell him about Jesus. He agreed. So I walked him through the good person test and the gospel. He told me he was baptized and I told him that I have met lots of people that have been baptized but are not saved. He went on to tell me that he did not believe in the resurrection. He did not believe that morals come from God. So I explained how morals have to come from God or anything that can be considered good. I showed him that eternity is written on his heart and told him that Christians are to be most pitied if there is no resurrection. Pray for the young man. He promised to think about what we talked about.

Pray for Sead I talked to him for over 2 hours. I went over the fact that we are saved by grace and not of works over and over. I explained that God is a good and just God and that he would be wicked if he just had mercy on people. I told him over and over again that Jesus is truly God and truly man. I explained how Jesus died and rose from the grave. I explained what JW’s believe, Mormons believe and Catholics. I used almost all of my Muslim apologetics. Please pray he trusts in Jesus and pray he gets a job. He told me he will be back next week to talk again.
