The Summer was busy. Here are a few highlights. In July, CCN’s annual mission trip took place in Ocean City, Maryland. We handed out thousands of tracts during the five-day event, had many conversations, and preached the Gospel. We had excellent training as well. Ed Neiman with Open Air Campaigners taught us how to present the Gospel through painting. We also had Andrew Rappaport, and Anthony Silvestro train us to defend God’s Word in a time in our history that rejects the Bible in every area of our culture.
In early August, I went to CTI’s Apologetic College, and my instructors were: Mike Riddle, Anthony Silvestro, Scott Weckerly, and Eric Hovind. Because of this training, I am better equipped for the University campus this year.
The Gospel is either honey or repellent, which becomes evident when you share the Good News. Yet, we are not to worry about those things. We are messengers, for God’s Word tells us in Isaiah 55:10-11
“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.
1 Corinthians 3:7
After struggling with a few medical issues, I am ready to get back on campus.
I ask that you will keep me in your prayer during the next month. These are some issues that I am facing.
- The battle is intensifying. We are feeling the heat, so I am considering purchasing a go pro or some camera.
- Anna is now in Cape Cod with her husband, Isaiah. Jim and I have an empty nest.
- I am having a couple of glitches in my health.
- The college campuses are back in session.
- Courage to stand
Please let me know how I can pray for you.
Until next time Don’t Waste Your Dash!!
