Limited Atonement

Psalm 85:2 “You forgave the iniquity of your people;  you covered all their sin.”

Isaiah 53:8,11-12 “By oppression and judgment he was taken away;  and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living,  stricken for the transgression of my people?”, ” 11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant,  make many to be accounted righteous,   and he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many,   and he shall divide the spoil with the strong,
because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many,  and makes intercession for the transgressors.”

Matt 1:21 “She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.””

John 6:35-40 ” Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.””

John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”

John 10:14-16 “I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. For again Isaiah said, 40 “He has blinded their eyes  and hardened their heart, lest they see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.””

John 14:2-24

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—”

Heb 7:25-27 “Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.26 For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. 27 He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself.”
