Positive Confession – Speak things into existence

They will tell you Mark 11:22-24 “And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. ²³ Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. ²⁴ Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received^[a] it, and it will be yours.”

However, we can only receive what is God’s will 1 John 5:14-15 “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. ¹⁵ And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”

(acts 19 they used Gods name and the demons jumped on them. It is not always Gods will for us to be healthy and wealthy. If we are coveting things we do not have we are in sin. Eph 5:5 “For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.”

Do greater works than Jesus? John 14:12-13″“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. ¹³ Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

The greater works are sharing the gospel like 3000 being saved at Pentecost.  John 5:19-21 ” So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father^[a] does, that the Son does likewise. ²⁰ For the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And greater works than these will he show him, so that you may marvel. ²¹ For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.”

Did Jesus heal all? – Jesus left many unhealed

John 5:2:-9″Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, in Aramaic called Bethesda, which has five roofed colonnades. ³ In these lay a multitude of invalids—blind, lame, and paralyzed. ⁵ One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. ⁶ When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” ⁷ The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.” ⁸ Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” ⁹ And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.”

Adam was God in his exact image a little god –  We are made in his likeness not after his kind. John 10:31-36 Jesus is quoting Psalm 82:6-7 – They are judges making life and death decisions but they are still human.

We are little gods and can speak things to be

• If they say Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue,  and those who love it will eat its fruits.”
• Say Matt 12:37 “for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

We are gods so we deserve health and wealth (see Only One God)
Jesus went to hell to pay our spiritual fine and died spiritually (see Jesus did not need to go to hell) – If Jesus died spiritually then he stopped being God which means he was never God.

Satan is the owner of this world – Satan is not the legal owner or this world—1 Cor 4:4 ” In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

Satan is the God of this age, he influences the things in the world. He is not owner of the world. People do evil things like Satan. God is Sovereign.

God separated from Jesus on cross—Jesus quoted Psalm 22:1 must see context Psalm 22:19,24—God could hear him pray, just felt separated.

Believe God is not sovereign—(see Trinity it talks about God being Omnipotent, Omniscience and Omnipresent)

Psalm 115:3″Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.”

Psalm 135:6 “Whatever the Lord pleases, he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps.”

Repentance is just changing your mind

Acts 26:20 “but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance.”
