Sinless Perfectionist

ESV verses to share with people that think they have not sinned since they got saved.  They believe to be a Christian and to be saved you will not sin anymore after you are saved.

John 3:3 “Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”” -Did Jesus say you must sin no more to get into the kingdom of heaven? No you must be born into the family.  Unbeliever would not delight in the law, 24 he says Wretched man I am (not I was) so he is talking about himself now.

Rom 3:20 “because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in
His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. “

1 Tim 1:15 “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.” – he says I am the worst and not I was
1 John 1:5-8 “This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” – Jesus purifies us and if we claim to have not sin we are not Christians ,  we have to confess our sin.  If we did not sin why would we confess it?
1 John 2:1 “My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” – If anyone does sin we have one who speaks to the father.  Showing that we as Christians will sin.
Heb 12:1-2 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” – Believers are to throw off sin that easily entangles. So, believers can get entangled in sin.
Gal 2:11-13 “But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. 12 For before certain men came from James, he was eating with the Gentiles; but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing the circumcision party.[a] 13 And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.” – They were believers lead astray.

Gal 3:25 “But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

1 Cor 10:12 “Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.” – If you think you can stand firm be careful that you do not fall.

Jer 31:31-34 ““Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, 32 not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD. 33 “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the LORD, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the LORD, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
